I suppose I should introduce myself. My name is Vicky and I am 30 years old. I was born and raised in Greece, now living in the United Kingdom with my loving English husband.

I’ve always enjoyed writing and the idea of starting a blog (or other writing-related venture of some kind) has always been at the back of my mind, however, as it often is the case, it has never been the right time to do it. Until now.

In reality, I suppose there is always some trepidation in sharing part of you with the world. For me, I was and still am afraid that I don’t have anything to say that is worth saying, anything to add to any specific topic or will be judged if motivation leaves me and I am not consistent in my writing efforts.

Finally, and years in the making, I have chosen to just start and see where the writing journey takes me.

In this blog, I want to share content about one of my passions in life – food. I want to explore flavours, new restaurants, attempt to develop my cooking skills and share it with the world by writing hopefully engaging content.

In case this blog finds its audience – know that I appreciate constructive feedback on my writing and content, and am happy to take suggestions for topics to include, food to try, restaurants to visit…
